Intramuscular Injection Model

This model features realistic skin and is ideal for teaching proper intramuscular injection techniques while helping students learn how to avoid nerves and veins. The transparent right side displays internal structures such as bones, muscles, nerves, and veins. Key anatomical landmarks—including the gluteus medius, nerves, veins, iliac crest, and greater trochanter—can be palpated to identify correct injection points. When fluid is injected properly, it drains through a tube into a collection bag. A green light confirms correct technique and needle positioning, while a buzzer and flashing red light alert students if the needle is inserted too deeply or placed incorrectly.
